Our amazing friend Mahrou and her partner Dirk started an exciting adventure 15 years ago in Barcelona: Cruising Barcelona, where you can discover authentic Barcelona by bike, together with a professional tourguide. It quickly grew to a hugely successful company, awarded with a 'certificate of excellence' by tripadvisor in 2019. 

And then corona hit. This meant full lock down in Barcelona for 6 weeks, followed by virtually no tourism now, hitting them harder than any crisis they have faced before. Mahrou and Dirk are not ones to sit back and take this crisis lying down, and have taken on jobs on the side to pay their ongoing business costs and to be able to support their young family.
But the financial distress of covid19 is unprecedented. The rent for their shop where the tours are booked will need to be paid until April 2021, which means the costs are building up but income is lacking.
We cannot let this be the end of the best family run bicycle tour company of Barcelona! Please help them get through this winter, so they can hopefully overcome this incredibly difficult period and continue their dream.
