My connection with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. runs deep, as it was through the unwavering support of a family friend, Mr. Bonds, that I was introduced to this fraternity during a challenging time for my family. His support during my father's battle with bone marrow cancer left an indelible mark on me, igniting a desire to serve my community and honor his kindness.

Upon my matriculation at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University, I was captivated by the remarkable women of the Miss Black and Old Gold court for the Alpha Phi Chapter. Their dynamic leadership and unwavering positivity ignited a fire within me to empower others and become a beacon of inspiration for women in my community. As I aspire to take on the prestigious role of Miss Black and Old Gold, I envision a platform where every woman is not only encouraged but also equipped with the resources to lead, excel academically, and serve her community, mirroring the impactful legacy of the esteemed men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
