For more than 30 years, Critters Pet Shop & Rescue has been a place our community turns to when an animal needs help. Recently, we created The Cozy Critter Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing the animals many shelters can’t take — guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and a never-ending number of cats. Over the last year, we’ve also seen something difficult happening. Animal surrenders have increased while adoptions and retail sales have slowed. As families everywhere become more cautious with spending, small independent businesses like ours feel the impact quickly. Day-to-day sales are what help keep everything running.

Your support helps us care for rescued animals while they wait for homes, provide food, bedding, and daily care, cover medical expenses when animals arrive sick or injured, cover spay and neuter for our cats, continue offering a safe surrender option so animals aren’t abandoned, and keep a small local rescue serving our community.
