It is with a heavy heart that my mom, Cristy, recently shared that her significant other Mickey was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer had went through his intestines and attached to the abdominal wall. The mass that he had removed on February 26th showed cancer in the blood vessels. The CT he had last week doesn’t show that it as spread anywhere but they are also awaiting on his genetic testing to come back. With this diagnosis he won’t be able to return to work due to chemotherapy and upcoming treatments. If anyone knows Mickey you know he is a worker and nurtures everyone in his path. From day one this man has welcomed us and loved us like his own along with my mom. I’m coming on here to ask that we can take some of this financial burden off of them as they have recently bought a new home, now the medical bills coming in, their normal bills, and all the other financial burdens that have yet to come for them. At this point, they are solely relying on my mom’s income. My mom nor Mickey, would never ask anyone for help. So as a family we have decided this is what is best in this moment. If you can’t donate we asked that you send up prayers for our family. We know at the end of the day God is truly the one in control and he will see a way.
