On Friday, May 2nd, Cristina and Danielle experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed their home and nearly everything in it. They are now facing the difficult process of recovery, both emotionally and financially.

Danielle sustained burns to her face and body and suffered from smoke inhalation, leading to a costly hospital stay. This happened during her finals week at UTEP, adding extra stress during an already difficult time.

Tragically, they also lost their beloved dog, Bennett, who was a cherished part of their family and brought them comfort, laughter and love.
