My life changed forever when I became the victim of a violent crime and was shot 23 times. The aftermath has been incredibly challenging, both physically and emotionally. I now live with a stoma bag and face the need for a major surgery to reverse it, as well as reconstruct my abdominal wall. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to cover these critical medical procedures.
