Help Cristian Recover After Tragic Break-In

Hi my name is Erika and I'm raising funds for my nephew's recovery process.
On July 25, around 3 am 3 armed men in ski masks identifying as policemen broke into his home in Fort Worth, TX. My nephew, Cristian Robles, was home alone and defended himself with his handguns, firing in self defense. 2 of the armed men left running, but 1 guy stayed and returned fire. Cristian was unaware of how many men were still in his house and made the split-second decision to break a window and jump out and seek help. During the gun fire exchange, one of the intruders was shot. The guy was later found one street over and was arrested and is currently in custody. Cristian did suffered major injuries enduring trauma both physically and mentally. He had to have foot tendon surgery, a nerve was cut and will be unable to walk/put any weight on foot for a few weeks. He cut his legs, arms and various parts of his body losing dangerous amounts of blood during his escape. The break in shattered Cristian’s sense of safety in his own home. There were over 50 bullet holes left in the home and over 50 stitches on his body. Cristian will have to miss work and faces uncertainty as he recovers. Christian is a licensed Physical Message Therapist. His services included Therapeutic Medical Massages which he will not be able to do since his left hand was badly cut and required stitches. He himself will now require Physical Therapy to fully recover.
Cristian doesn’t seek violence. He’s simply a hard working young man whose life was turned upside down in a blink of an eye. If Cristian would not have had his guns that day, I may be sharing a different story today.
