Help Cristian Overcome Liver Failure

4/30/25 UPDATE: After Cristian’s second biopsy doctors found signs of liver rejection still and plan to intensify steroid treatment for the next 3 days before tapering it down again.

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your help and support for one of my best friends, Cristian. Over the past two months, he has been in and out of the hospital battling serious liver failure. Without health insurance, the medical costs are overwhelming.

Cristian has undergone two liver biopsies and a colonoscopy after experiencing alarming symptoms — including coughing up blood and bleeding internally. Despite being on steroids for nearly a month, his liver hasn’t shown signs of improvement. The doctors are now testing to see if his liver is rejecting itself, which would mean he will need a liver transplant.

Every day has been a struggle for him physically, emotionally, and financially. We’re raising funds to help cover his mounting medical bills, ongoing treatments, and the potential transplant process ahead.
