My name is Cristian Gatica, and most of you know me by my last name, Gatica. For those who may not know, I am a proud citizen of Guatemala. I arrived in California in 2014, seeking a better life and opportunities, especially for my three boys, who are all here with me now. As a single father, I have faced numerous challenges; it is quite uncommon for a father to raise his children without their mother. I have been doing everything I can to provide for them, and I have had an immigration lawyer assisting me for quite some time. However, with the recent developments, my case has been reopened, and I have been informed that I need to raise $5,000 within the next week or 2. If I am unable to do so, I will face serious consequences in the next 60 days (I will get deported).
