Our dear friend Crista is facing one of the hardest battles of her life.

Crista is the kind of person who lights up a room the moment she walks in. With her bubbly personality and huge heart, she has a gift for making people feel cared for and supported. As an acupuncturist, helping others heal is literally her life’s work.

She’s also a proud dog mom, a lover of horror movies (good and bad), and someone who would truly do anything for the people she loves. Crista has spent so much of her life taking care of others—now she needs her community to rally around her.

In October 2025, Crista was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative IDC breast cancer. Like so many people navigating cancer, she is doing everything she can to fight this disease and reclaim her health. Anyone who knows Crista knows her warmth, her strength, and the way she shows up for the people she loves. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

While pursuing treatment, Crista has also been exploring additional options that may support her healing and overall well-being. She has been accepted for treatment at BioCare Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, an integrative medical center that offers physician-supervised programs designed to complement conventional cancer care and strengthen the body’s natural defenses.

Their programs focus on personalized treatment plans that include immune-support therapies, nutritional support, and other integrative approaches aimed at improving overall health and quality of life during cancer treatment.

Unfortunately, treatments like these are not covered by insurance, and the costs add up quickly. Travel, lodging, and the intensive treatment program place a significant financial burden on Crista during an already overwhelming time.
