If you shop at Tidal Creek, you know her. Her laugh not only lights up her kitchen, it brightens the entire store. Her laugh is the temperature gauge of the store. If she is laughing, all is well. Yes, she feeds us. Yes she is an incredibly talented and creative chef and baker. What you don't know, is that she might be the most generous person in our little community. She is there for anyone in need- her staff, friends, random people that need help: if she is physically and financially able, she helps. That's who she is.

But Crissy has a secret, and with her permission, it is time to share. Crissy has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. 3 cancers, more accurately. She is slated to receive that full treatment protocols- Chemotherapy, Radiation, Surgery. While she has health insurance, the costs she is facing are crushing. To make matters worse, she will be mostly unable to work. Of course, Tidal Creek and our staff are here for her in any way we can. But we can only do so much.

Crissy is not the type of person to ask for help. She is the Helper. So we are doing it for her. Please, please consider helping us help her. Not only does cancer not care who you are, it cruelly seems to strike to best of us. This time, it literally hit our best.
