Hi everyone, my name is Crissy. I never imagined I’d have to ask for help like this, but I’m facing one of the hardest moments of my life. In August, I was in a severe car accident that totaled my vehicle and left me needing ongoing physical therapy. Then in October, my health took a terrifying turn when I began having seizures and was found unresponsive. After extensive testing, doctors discovered a cyst in my brain, and I now need an urgent evaluation with a neurosurgeon to continue neurological care.


Because of my condition, I was unable to return to work. My FMLA paperwork was denied, and I was ultimately terminated. Since August, I haven’t received a paycheck, my savings are gone, and I’ve lost my health insurance at the exact moment I need it most. My surgery and medical care are not covered, leaving me with overwhelming expenses I can’t manage alone. My family, though living in another state, has been offering me mental and emotional support from afar as I face these daily challenges.
