Our beloved Crissy former owner of Big Rack boutique and now office manager at RENEW Med spa has been a warrior for over a decade — quietly battling a complex mix of autoimmune diseases and rare health challenges while showing up every day with strength, grace, and a heart of gold. Now, she’s facing her toughest battle yet.

In 2012, she was diagnosed with a paraspinous schwannoma — a tumor the size of a softball that caused chronic neurological damage. She endured invasive surgery and complications that led to Horner’s Syndrome in her right eye, resulting in four surgeries and permanent nerve damage. Shortly after recovering, she suffered a stroke.

Her journey continued with:

• A chest wall tumor in 2013, treated with oral chemo

• Loss of voice in 2014 due to spasmodic dysphonia, requiring vocal repair and extensive therapy

• Ongoing diagnoses including:

• Lupus

• Addison’s Disease

• Sjogren’s Syndrome

• Critical growth hormone deficiency

• Severe migraines, tremors, and liver/kidney depletion

And now… she is being tested for multiple cancers.

After years of enduring the brutal side effects of traditional treatments, she has chosen to pursue holistic and alternative therapies both here in the U.S. and in Panama, where innovative integrative oncology options are giving hope to patients who have run out of options.
