My name is Crissi, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life.
For some time now, I have been quietly navigating uterine complications that have led to severe anemia and very difficult menstrual cycles. What many experience as a normal part of life has, for me, become a recurring challenge marked by deep exhaustion, weakness, and pain. There are days when even the simplest things — standing for long, preparing a meal, concentrating on work — feel incredibly heavy.
During my cycles and the recovery days that follow, I am often unable to work at all. In truth, nearly two weeks of each month my body requires full rest in order to recover from blood loss and rebuild strength. This has made it impossible to maintain consistent, stable income, even though I deeply want to.
Living with this has been humbling. I have always valued my independence and my ability to support myself, so slowing down and asking for help has not been easy. But I am learning that healing sometimes asks us to soften and allow others to walk beside us.
After consulting with doctors, I now understand that I need specialized treatment and continued medical care to stabilize my condition and rebuild my strength. This brings me hope. However, the treatment is not covered by insurance, and the financial burden has become more than I can manage on my own.
I am raising funds to help cover:
• Ongoing medical consultations and monitoring
• Lab tests to manage my anemia
• Treatment and necessary medications
• Basic support during the weeks I am unable to work
Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps lighten this burden and allows me to focus fully on healing. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page is also a meaningful act of kindness.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your compassion reminds me that I am not alone, and that alone gives me strength.
With sincere gratitude,
Crissi
