Help Crispy Durag!

Our beloved Rashad has recently found out that he has two brain tumors. After a month of battling with slow-moving insurance providers and hospitals, he can finally seek care at NIH. However, his journey is just beginning. Rashad will undergo surgery projected at the end of August to remove the tumors. If they are more aggressive, it will be sooner.

 

He has been told that he will likely need intensive physical therapy after the surgery, as often, people that undergo glioma removal at first may not be able to move at all.

 

Rashad has been skateboarding for over a decade and had just started to bud professionally. His diagnosis has been heartbreaking. As you can imagine, this has affected his mental health and outlook on his life and future in skateboarding.

 

We are fundraising for his living expenses while he is out of work in recovery, physical therapy and mental health therapy expenses.
