Cricket Bug has been a part of my life since the day she was born under my bed while I was still in high school. For the past 11 years, she’s been my constant companion, always ready to curl up in my lap and offer comfort with her gentle purrs. Out of all my cats, she’s the sweetest and most affectionate, and her presence brings so much warmth to my home. Sadly, Cricket Bug is now facing a serious health challenge. She’s been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and has a bloody vulva, which has been very distressing for both of us. The veterinarians are recommending a series of tests, including x-rays, blood work, and a urine analysis, along with medication and IV treatment to help her recover. The costs for these procedures and treatments are more than I can manage on my own right now. Losing her twin two years ago was heartbreaking for my family and me, and I can’t imagine going through that pain again. Cricket Bug means the world to me, and I want to do everything possible to give her the best chance at a full recovery.
