Help Crew Rogers beat DPCH!

This handsome sixteen year old is my nephew Crew.  He is sweet, loving, smart, funny, and respectful.  Crew suffers from DPCH, or daily, persistent, chronic headaches.  For the past six years he has struggled with constant headaches that are frequently debilitating, limiting his ability to go to school, play sports, be with friends - all the stuff teenagers like to do.   Crew and his mother (my sister Ashley) have lost count of the number of doctors / specialists they have seen to try and identify the cause of his condition, without success.  Multiple surgeries have not brought about a cure, and the many medicines prescribed have not successfully treated Crew's symptoms.   Every day is an emotional and physical struggle for Crew.  For Ash it is extremely difficult to watch her child be in pain day after day, with no way to help him.  It has caused her more grief and heartbreak than words can really express.

Despite repeated disappointments, Crew and Ash have not given up hope and are currently working with another doctor who specializes in treating this type of pain.  They have started a rigorous plan using a combination of neuro feedback and dietary restrictions, and although there is no guarantee that this will cure Crew's condition there are early indications that it is helping.  The treatments are expensive and not covered by insurance, but conventional efforts have not yielded any results and Ashley feels that she has no choice but to pursue it.  She is sharing this personal plea for the help of friends and family:  "I will never stop trying to help my son.  I am, however, at a loss of funds for this treatment and I am humbly asking for your help. I do not ask this lightly as it is embarrassing and soul breaking to ask for your charity.  But again, I do not know what else to do."
