Help Bring Nugget Home
My name is Mary, and I’m raising money to have my special boy, Nugget, cremated. He passed away recently, and his remains are currently being held at the vet’s office until Monday.
Nugget wasn’t just a dog to me—he was my family. He was my grandson. Born on July 23rd, Nugget was the only surviving puppy in his litter of four. He came into this world with a cleft lip, cleft nose, cleft mouth, and bowed legs. Against all odds, his mouth healed on its own, and with love, patience, and physical therapy, his legs straightened out too.
He had just turned 2 years old. Nugget was a special-needs pup with the kindest soul and the most unique personality. He brought joy to everyone around him and had this way of looking at the world—with pure awe and amazement. If I could see life through anyone’s eyes, it would be his. All he ever knew was love.
Due to losing my second source of income and facing some serious medical issues of my own, I can’t afford the cremation costs right now. The total will go directly to the vet holding his remains.
If you're able to donate or even just share this with others, it would mean the world to me. If you'd prefer to make a payment directly to the vet, that can be arranged as well.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me bring my good boy home.
UPDATE: Hey everyone—just wanted to say a huge thank you to those who’ve supported me during this heartbreaking time. Nugget’s cremation has been paid for, and I’m beyond grateful I was able to give my sweet boy the dignity he deserved.
I’ve reopened donations for anyone who still wanted to help but didn’t get the chance earlier. While the main expense is taken care of, the cost hit hard and every little bit still helps with catching up on other bills and staying afloat while I process this loss.
Your kindness means the world. Whether you donate, share, or just send good vibes—thank you. ❤️
