Kona was my best friend and my road dog. He was a four-and-a-half-year-old mini Aussie with a big personality—super friendly, a little bratty, but always my brat dog. He even came to work with me when I worked the outside bar, making friends with everyone he met. Kona brought so much joy and love into my life, and I miss him deeply every day.
Recently, Kona was killed by coyotes. He was so friendly that he tried to play with them, not realizing the danger. Losing him this way has been heartbreaking. Right now, Kona is in the freezer in a box because I don’t have the funds yet for his cremation. I want to give him a proper farewell and keep him safe from further harm, which is why cremation is so important to me. I can’t bear the thought of burying him and risking the coyotes finding him again.
I’m asking for help to cover the cost of Kona’s cremation. Any support would mean the world to me as I try to honor his memory and find some peace. Thank you for reading my story and for any help you can give.
