Hey guys, I’m Candie. In October, my mom went to the hospital and had blood clots in her lungs and pneumonia. She stayed there about a week and was sent home. Two days later, she went back to the hospital and was diagnosed with cirrhosis.

I moved my mom in with me and put her on hospice on Sunday, Oct 26th, and by Wednesday, she had given up fighting. I stayed home from work so that we could take care of her because she didn’t want to die alone, and we thought we could save her. She ended up passing on Nov 7th.

I still have not been able to go back to work. The same morning my mom passed, my son got really sick, and we’ve been in the hospital since.

We are trying to raise funds to cremate my mom. She is being held at Garett Funeral Home. If anyone would like to help, we would appreciate it so much.
