Help Cremate Army Veteran Russell Pearson

Hello everyone My name is Jennifer and I am reaching out for help with the cremation expenses for my dear father Russell Pearson. At 84 years old my dad finally known as pops lost his battle with stage 4 terminal multiple myeloma cancer today August 7th 20 25 at 9:45 this morning. My heart is breaking and I'm really unsure of what to do at this moment but I need help My dad was an amazing man proud army veteran who served his country for 5 years before being honorably discharged he was originally from North Carolina but has called Florida home for the past 40 years he was married to my mother Norma Jean for 40 years together they raised my brother Russell Bud Pearson and myself until November 14th 1986 when the unimaginable tragedy happened when my brother was killed instantly in an automobile accident My mother and father never really recovered from that loss. Then on December 4th 2007 My dad lost his heart and the love of his life when my mom passed away from a stroke The past few years have been filled with health challenges for him but he was diagnosed with stage 4 multiple myeloma exactly one week ago today only after having a stroke Pop was also known to many as junk dauber on YouTube where he found so much joy riding his scooter finding treasures and sharing with his online community no scratch that his online family. He loved life in more than anything he loved his family My dad was a constant source of support for me as a single mom helping to raise my three sons Donovan Joey and Jaden while I worked this has been a very tough year for us financially I have been on short-term disability due to a partial foot amputation and am currently in physical rehab and wound care for that My youngest son Jaden has severe diabetes which adds to the expenses we are living week to week just trying to keep a roof overheads and utilities on while the VA helps veterans the benefits are non-existent for non-spouse family members living with a significant financial burden My father's wish is to be cremated The total cost is $3800 which is almost impossible for us to cover on our own right now while I am trying my best to make arrangements with a funeral home they require the full amount upon passing before they can perform the cremation please help Grant my father's last wish your help no matter how big or small would mean the world to us It would give us a chance to honor my father's memory and give him a dignified final rest to be with my mom and my little brother if you can't donate please consider sharing a story thank you so much for your compassion and support during this most difficult time.
