Help Create the Twisp Chamber Orchestra

Donation protected
Hi my name is Matt, I love music! Over the years, I have noticed that there are all these amazingly talented composers and musicians that have a really hard time getting their music performed in a live setting.

Enter the Twisp Chamber Orchestra:
On 9/11/21, I got a group of colleagues together and raised funds to put on a chamber orchestra concert in Twisp, Washington, to help some soloist friends of mine get experience with pieces they were working up and to debut a composition of my own. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! and the audience was wowed! After the performance, we all agreed to do it bigger and better in 2022. This is why WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

If you want to see more live music, it means finding ways for musicians to get paid for performing.

Likewise, if you want new music, it means finding an outlet for composers to have their works debuted. Enter the Armbrust Publishing Composition Competition, a worldwide competition awarding a composer from Eastern Washington, the greater USA, and the World (3 total) the chance to debut their selected work with the Twisp Chamber Orchestra.

WE'VE GOT THE TALENT!
WE'VE GOT THE VENUE!

WE JUST NEED YOU!

Where your money goes:

The Twisp Chamber Orchestra mission has three tiers:
Tier 1: Create excellent Chamber Music concert opportunities for rural audiences in Okanogan County, Washington.
Tier 2: Create excellent Chamber Music performance opportunities that interface local musicians, regardless of ability, with regionally, nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians.
Tier 3: Create a platform for contemporary composition by regional, national, and international working composers to debut their Chamber Ensemble works.

During September 6-10, 2022, I will be holding the Twisp Chamber Orchestra Festival. I have reserved the Methow Valley Inn to host lodging for musicians, and as a performance site: they need to get paid. I am working with about 20 regionally and nationally recognized musicians: they need to get paid. Plus, we stream the concert: videographer and streaming service need to get paid. I am debuting and publishing the winning pieces of the composition contest: registering the work for copyright protection and advertising cost money to give these incredible artists the profile and recognition they deserve.

It all makes a large bill that ticket receipts just won't bear! But, it's not just me that wants this route for artistry to gain visibility:

YOU WANT IT! MUSICIANS WANT IT! COMPOSERS WANT IT!

So join us with your support to make it happen. Why? Because it's beautiful.
