Yo, what’s good, y’all — my name is Shaun Marson, but most folks know me as Lucha.
I’m a creator building a dream that refuses to stay in my head: a full-blown 3D fighting game with its own world, lore, characters, and energy. This ain’t some “maybe one day” idea — this is something I’m actively building brick by brick, and with your help, I can take it from passion to reality.
Before anything can launch, I gotta move smart. That means getting things handled legally, securing a lawyer, locking down trademarks, copyrights, patents — the whole Avengers-level paperwork. It’s expensive, but it’s necessary if I’m gonna protect this universe I’m creating.
And listen… my brain is ridiculous.
Ideas hit me like flashbangs every single day. That’s why I built my own production studio — Stupid Brain Productions — because honestly, my brain does the most, and I needed a place to store the chaos. This studio will be the home for everything I create: the fighting game, animated shorts, comics, characters, and all the wild stories that keep dropping into my mind like it’s a cosmic group chat.
But my mission is bigger than just making a game.
I aim to make a positive impact in the fighting game community, push the boundaries in video games, and provide people with something new to get excited about. A world you can play, watch, feel, and fall in love with. Something with personality, culture, and soul — something that actually stands out in a world full of cookie-cutter projects.
Your contribution isn’t just “helping a guy make a game.”
You’re helping build a movement.
You’re helping create an entire universe with characters, stories, and energy the world has never seen before. You’re helping me give opportunities to other creators, animators, actors, artists, and people just like me.
With your support, I can complete the legal work, secure the foundation, hire the right talents, and move this forward in a tangible way.
If you rock with dreams, passion, and building something from the ground up, you’re in the right place.
Let’s make this project something legendary. Together.
Project Icarus: Bloodline is the manga and anime arm of the universe, and its vibe pulls straight from the movies that shaped me. Think Jackie Chan classics like Gorgeous, Wheels on Meals, and Rumble in the Bronx—fast, funny, and full of jaw-dropping fight choreography—mixed with the hard-hitting intensity of The Raid 1 & 2, Ninja Assassin, Ong-Bak, Dragon Tiger Gate, and Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In. On the anime and gaming side, it’s got that chaotic, off-the-wall humor and sharp energy of Gintama and Jujutsu Kaisen, the supernatural grit of Yu Yu Hakusho, and the cinematic punch of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Bloodline is built to feel like a nonstop adrenaline rush where martial arts, comedy, and raw storytelling collide in a world that’s equal parts stylish and dangerous.
Project Icarus: Rise is the 3D fighting game that ties into that universe, and for this one I’m pulling heavy inspiration from my favorite fighter, Rival Schools, alongside like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Street Fighter 6. The goal isn’t just to make another fighting game, but to create something that’s fun, chaotic, and full of personality, where each character feels alive both in their playstyle and story. I want the development process to be just as fun as the end product—building something that pays homage to the games I grew up on while carving out its own wild, unforgettable identity.

Little Blurb:
I grew up obsessing over Def Jam Vendetta, Def Jam Fight for NY, and Urban Reign — those games raised the bar for what a fighting game could feel like. They weren’t just about throwing hands; they were about culture, style, personality, and storytelling through pure chaos. That energy is what lit the spark in me, and now I’m ready to build the next evolution of that legacy. My vision is to create something that hits just as hard, moves with the same swagger, and gives players that same “yo, this is different” feeling. This campaign is my first step toward turning that dream into something real.
Another project in my sights is Kings of the Underground — an independent hip-hop combat game that blends raw street energy with fast-paced, character-driven action. It’s a passion project I’ve been brainstorming for years, and it deserves the same level of love and creativity I’m pouring into Project Icarus. These worlds I’m building are more than just games; they’re a space for culture, community, and creativity to collide. With support, I can finally bring these ideas to life the way they deserve to be seen. I’m putting my whole heart, skillset, and grind into this, and I’m ready to cook up something legendary.
If you rock with the vision, even a little bit, your contribution means the world. Each donation pushes these projects closer to becoming playable, beautiful, fully-realized experiences. I want to make something for us — for the artists, the dreamers, the gamers, the weirdos, the underdogs. This is me betting on myself and betting on the culture. Let’s build something unforgettable together.
