In 2020, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life—I left my home in California and set out across the country to start over.
I didn’t have a perfect plan. Just a vision… and a deep desire to build something meaningful.
Over the past few years, I’ve faced uncertainty, setbacks, and moments where it would’ve been easier to quit—but I didn’t. And now, I’ve finally found a place to begin again.
That place is becoming the Mo’asis
A safe haven for rescue dogs—a space where they can heal, run free, and finally feel safe.
Why This Matters
Too many dogs are abandoned, neglected, or stuck in overcrowded situations with nowhere to go.
I’ve already taken in a rescue dog who is now part of this journey—and recently added another! This is just the beginning.
The Mo’asis isn’t just about helping one dog…
It’s about creating something that can grow and help many more.
What I’m Building
This sanctuary is starting completely from the ground up—raw land, no shortcuts.
How the $18,500 Will Be Used (Phase 1 of the Mo’asis)
This first goal is focused on securing the absolute essentials to make the land functional and safe for the dogs.
• Well Installation & Water Access – $8,500
This is the most critical step. Without a well, there is no reliable water source for the dogs, cleaning, or daily living. This is the foundation that makes everything else possible.
The Bigger Vision
Eventually… a place that can expand, where I can bring on help that lives on the land, so we can bring on even more animals in need.
A place where:
• Dogs can decompress and heal
• They’re not rushed, stressed, or overlooked
• They get a real chance at life
