Help create history with our Dutch Lionesses

The Netherlands Rugby League Bond is on an exciting journey to create history.

Last year launching the 'first ever' Netherlands Women's National Rugby League Team (a.k.a. as the Dutch/Orange Lionesses) and two impressive victories against Greece (number 11 in the world), were followed by an inspirational masterclass against Italy. The road to the World Cup in 2026, Australia lies completely open.

Knocking Italy out, puts us in a poule with Ireland and Wales. Winner grabs a ticket for the big show straight away. The runner-up plays the runner up from the poule with France, Serbia and Greece for a shot at a wildcard.

The teams will consist of players from all regions of the Netherlands and also Heritage players that have generational family links to the Netherlands from all over the world. An amazing mix of cultures, generations and history coming together showing the diversity and inclusivity that Rugby League provides for anyone and everyone.

We are aiming to shock the Rugby League World and put our Lionesses on the big stage in Australia. So let's make this a special moment for all involved, any form of assistance would be greatly welcomed and deeply appreciated to help grow the game throughout the Netherlands.
