Olá e bem-vindo ao meu GoFundMe! Quero agradecer a todos que me apoiaram financeiramente ou em oração ou nos dois na obra que o Senhor tem feito através da minha vida nesse ano passado. Como vocês que tem me acompanhado sabem ano passado eu completei a Escola de Discipulado e Treinamento com a JOCUM em Chiang Mai, e acabei de voltar recentemente de fazer um curso acelerado de Filmagem com a JOCUM em Kona, Havaí. Quando eu estava fazendo a minha escola de missões ano passado senti que o Senhor estava me direcionando/me preparando para eu voltar e servir a ele na Tailândia, embora eu não sei por quanto tempo. Ele tem me dado um coração para a a Asia Sudeste, principalmente a Tailândia, e também para ministério no futuro em Nova Iorque onde eu fui criada. Creio que vou passar periódos servindo ele nesses dois países. Mesmo eu não sabendo o como e quando e tudo. Enquanto eu estava na escola de filmagem teve um dia bem especial em que ele me deu uma confirmação para o meu chamado missionário e me marcou. Nós estavamos orando sobre o conflito da Tailândia e Cambodia que tem acontecido, e eu comecei a chorar em espirito, e depois eles oraram especificamente para as pessoas que são da Tailândia, ou que estarão servindo na Tailandia. Eu pela fé recebi oração. O espirito santo me fez chorar de novo, e mas tarde eu refleti que isso foi confirmação para o meu chamado para as missões e muito alem do que só um momento especial. Enquanto eu estava estudando na escola de filmagem eu comecei a sonhar e pegar visão das formas que Deus pode me usa no campo missionário através da filmagem, juntando filmagem com as missões. Eu creio que no futuro ele pode me usar para fazer filmes curtos e longos relacionado ao ministério, e também documentários, especificamente acima do trabalho de ministérios que lutam contra o Trafico Humano. Eu sei que ele quer me usar para impactar crianças, e me usa com filmagem, e eu creio que no futuro ele vai me usar nessa area de lutar contra o Trafico Humano, porque eu tenho contatos com vários desses ministérios e sinto um apego a essa area. Não sei como e do futuro, mas eu estou sempre buscando o Senhor para direção no meu próximo passo, o que que ele quer que faço. E eu creio que ele é poderoso para me levar aonde ele quiser, me capacitar, e me usar de forma poderosa para alcançar muitos para o reino dele. A primeira coisa que eu estou confiante que estou sendo chamada é para servir como Cineasta para um ministério chamado Create International. Mas o que é o Create International?
ONDE EU VOU ESTAR SERVINDO:
Create International é um ministério transnacional de comunicações que pertence a Missões Fronteiras da JOCUM. Missões Fronteiras se foca especificamente em alcançar grupos não alcançados, pessoas que têm pouco ou 0 acesso ao evangelho, ou que tem pouco apoio. Create International cria recursos evangelísticos de mídia/filme para pregar para o não alcançado. Eles têm várias equipes ao redor do mundo, e várias equipes específicas servindo em áreas diferentes incluindo: SEEDS (que criam recursos evangelísticos para crianças,) Animissions (que cria animações do evangelho, desenhos, história em quadrinhos,) e mais. Estes recursos são utilizados por plantadores de igreja, organizações, e outras equipes de campo que estão na linha de frente em pregar o evangelho a povos não alcançados. Mídia é um ferramento incrível porque através disso você pode pregar o evangelho até em países onde o evangelho é restrito. Estarei servindo Create International no seu local em Chiang Mai, Tailândia, e especificamente debaixo da equipe Create Mobile. Create Mobile cria filmes narrativos curtos/longos para pregar o evangelho aos não alcançados. Eles também às vezes viajam para treinar pessoas a filmar filmes evangelísticos para alcançar as pessoas da sua região.
Mas para poder me tornar Staff da Create Mobile, eu tenho que completar um treino de três meses online chamado: Seminário Online De Filmagem para as Fronteiras. Após do treino, tenho a opção de viajar duas semanas para ser Assistente de Produção para um filme evangelistico em Malawi, África. Como estarei voltando para a Tailândia mais cedo, o meu plano é servir outra equipe chamado Create Labs, enquanto eu completar o meu treino para Create Mobile, e depois juntar a Create Mobile. Create Labs é um grupo de pesquisa dentro da Create International que apoia o resto das equipes da Create. Exemplos de trabalho que eles fazem inclui: criando recursos evangelísticos de mídia como: vídeos curtos, vídeos de ensino, jogos, etc… Eles também ajudam pesquisar e desenvolver ferramentas para igrejas/organizações usaram para pregar o evangelho. Eles também trabalham com Cineastas Tailandeses nos seus filmes evangelísticos que eles usam para alcançar os Tailandeses para Jesus. Meu alvo é levantar apoio financeiro para eu poder me dedicar tempo integral com este ministério. Estou orando e confiando que o Senhor vai prover. INTRODUCTION
Hey Welcome to my GoFundMe if you want to see the English version just skip ahead in the video, because first I’ll be presenting in English. I want to thank everyone who has supported me either financially/through prayer or both in the work that God has been doing through my life this past year. As you know I finished my Discipleship Training Missions School with YWAM last year in Chiang Mai Thailand, and just recently I finished the intensive School of Digital Filmmaking with YWAM in Kona Hawaii. When I went through my missions school last year I really felt that the Lord is leading/preparing me to come back and serve Him in Thailand, although I don’t know for how long. He’s grown a heart in me for Southeast Asia, especially Thailand, and he’s also grown a heart in me for future ministry in NY where I grew up. I believe I’ll go through different periods where I’m serving him in these two countries. Even though I don’t know the when/where of everything, and how that’s going to look like. While I was in my Film School there was a very special day that really confirmed my missional calling. We were praying for the Thailand-Cambodian conflict and I kept crying in the spirit and later they prayed specifically for people from Thailand or serving in Thailand, and I received prayer because by faith I believe I’m returning to serve in Thailand. I cried in the spirit again and this was to me a very special confirmation of my calling for Thailand and Southeast Asia. As I went through the film school I also caught vision to how the Lord may use me on the mission field by merging missions with film. I believe in the future he will use me to make short and longer films connected to ministry, and also documentaries, specifically that cover the work of Anti-Human Trafficking ministries. I know he wants to use me to impact children, and with film, and in the future I believe in the area of Anti-human trafficking, because I have a lot of contact with those ministries and have a gut feeling/drawn to it. I don’t know what the path looks like, but I’m seeking the Lord always for his next step, and believe that he is mighty enough to take me where he wants to take me, to equip, and to use me to reach many for his glory. The very first thing that I feel called to do right now is return to Thailand and serve for a year as a Filmmaker for Create International. What is Create International?
WHERE I’LL BE SERVING
Create International is a transnational communication ministry that belongs to YWAM Frontier Missions. Frontier Missions focuses on reaching unreached people groups. These are people who have little or no access to the gospel, and some who have access but little support. Create International creates media/film evangelistic resources to preach the gospel to these unreached. They have teams around the world, and several specific teams serving in different areas under them including: SEEDS (which creates evangelistic resources for kids, ) Animissions (which creates gospel animations, cartoons, and comics), and more. These resources are used by church planters, organizations, and other field teams that are on the frontlines of preaching the gospel to the unreached. Media is an incredible tool because with it you can preach the gospel even within countries where the gospel is restricted. I’ll be joining Create International at their Chiang Mai, Thailand location, and specifically under the Create Mobile team. Create Mobile creates long/short narrative gospel films to reach the unreached. They also sometimes travel to help locals in a specific country create a gospel film to reach the people in their area.
In order to join Create Mobile, I’d need to go through their mandatory three month online training: the Frontier Filmmaking Seminar Online (FFSO) in January. At the end of training I have the option to join them on a trip March to Malawi, Africa, where I can serve as a Production Assistant for a gospel film that they will be filming there. Since I’ll be returning to Thailand sooner, my plan is to first join a different team under the same organization called Create Labs. As I serve at Create Labs, I’ll complete my training for Create Mobile, and afterwards I’ll join Create Mobile. Create Labs is a research group within Create International that helps all of the other teams at Create. Some of the work that they do includes creating evangelistic media resources such as: teaching shorts, short videos, games, etc… They also help research & develop the tools that churches/organizations use to preach the gospel. Lastly they work alongside Thai Filmmakers on gospel films to reach Thai people for Jesus.
My goal is for me to raise enough financial support to commit to working full-time for this ministry. I’m praying & believing in the Lord to provide for me. My plan is to serve for a year, and to continue to seek the Lord on his plans for my life. I’m excited to be used by him, and for everything that he has in store.
