Mitakuyapi! (Relatives!)

My name is Alayna Eagle Shield and I am sincerely requesting support for my Elder parents’ home to be equipped with necessary disability accessibility features. They currently have 9 people who reside within their home, two of whom face significant mobility challenges—one with an amputated leg and another battling Multiple Sclerosis (MS). They face challenges in accessing basic amenities due to physical limitations, such as the lack of ramps for wheelchair/walker accessibility and safe bathing facilities like walk-in showers.

My parents, as well as everyone who resides in their home, are amazing community members who support our people in so many ways. I’m asking that we rally together to raise money for a very needed ramp for their home and accessible, walk-in showers. This will support their accessibility needs, safety, and ensure a good quality of life for everyone in the home.
