The Rock Christian Fellowship, located at 375 Clinton Avenue in Newark, is excited to host our annual Rock in the Block community event on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Rock in the Block is a completely free event, open to everyone in the Newark community. Each year, we close off the block surrounding our church and transform it into a day filled with joy, fellowship, and family fun. The event features live worship, delicious food and drinks, Italian ice, face painting, bounce houses, cotton candy, popcorn, games, and many other activities for children and families to enjoy.

Our vision is to provide a day where families can relax, connect, and create lasting memories—a vacation-like experience for those who may not have the opportunity to travel or enjoy activities like these. More than just a fun event, Rock in the Block is about bringing hope, unity, and a positive atmosphere to our city while demonstrating the love of Christ to our neighbors.

In addition to hosting this event, we are raising funds to provide school uniform vouchers and care packages for 50–100 children in our community, helping families prepare for the upcoming school year with dignity and support.
