I’ll get straight to the point. My 25-year-old son died of an overdose last Saturday night in my arms. I would like to put a really special park together for him in Carrollton, GA, where he was such a special young man to all his coaches over the years.

He grew up in their parks department and he was loved by all the parks staff. The city parks director, Kent Johnson, was at my son’s funeral this past Saturday and he is an incredible parks department director. That’s how much he was loved.

I will be forever grateful if you help me honor my son’s memory.
