My friend Maddox’s birthday is on April 4th, and I really want to do something special for him this year. I’ve known Maddox for about two years, and he has been a really good friend to me. Maddox is autistic, and he is someone who brings a lot of joy and kindness to the people around him. He loves things like Mario, Legos, and sports games, and shoes, those things make him really happy.

This year is also special because it’s our last year going to the same school. After this, we’re both going to high school, so things will be different and we might not see each other as much. I want to make this birthday really memorable for him before we go our separate ways.
