MEMORIAL BENCH FOR REGAN MARTINS

The Martins family unexpectedly lost their 12 year old daughter, Regan, on Friday, August 9th. Regan leaves behind her parents Theresa and Rui, as well as siblings Morgan, Peyton, Brooklyn, and Declan. Regan was a wonderfully kind friend to everyone she met and it has been evident in the time since her passing that she impacted more people than she or her family ever realized in her time with us. The Newington community has come together to recognize Regan’s impact on her peers, teachers, family, and community members by lighting the town in pink, Regan’s favorite color, as well as sharing stories and memories that we all have of our favorite little actress. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money to purchase a memorial bench to be permanently placed at Mill Pond Park. Any funds raised above and beyond the cost of the bench and memorial plaque will be given to the family to help offset funeral expenses, add to any scholarship fund, or use in any way that may help them in this extremely difficult time.
