Help Create a Flower Oasis!

Donation protected
Two years ago, my university colleague and I decided to clean up and beautify a courtyard that rocked a serious Sanford and Son vibe. It was a boneyard of discarded sculpture projects, hoarded garbage (don’t ask) protected by a jungle of weeds and sticker bushes. Oh, what potential languished just outside our studio/classroom doors! Realizing we probably would never leave our beloved institution, (and for me, that I will probably be buried there) we got down to business. We cleared the weeds, discarded the horrors hidden within and started planting. Since that time, we have pulled up an army of weeds, thrown out unloved art projects and junk, grown plants from seeds, and planted bulbs. Just last week, we added a decorative stencil to our cement courtyard. The space is now something special, but we are anxious to bring it to another level, a place where the students can draw and paint, relax and socialize. With more plants, some modest outdoor furniture, and maybe even a small pond (Yes! Yes!) we hope to create a small oasis on campus. Will you help us?

We would like to offer some tokens of thanks for your kind donations.
