Multicultural Crayons for PPS students

Our goal is to raise enough funds to buy and deliver Crayola "Colors of the World" Crayons so all 20k+ students in Portland Public Elementary Schools can have a box of their own. “Colors of the World” crayons are much different than the box of color crayons on most school supply lists because they have hues representing over 40 global skin tones that “authentically reflect the full spectrum of human complexions".

We believe all students should be able to color pictures of their families and themselves that accurately reflect their individual identities and skin tones. Access to appropriate art media will give them the opportunity to creatively and proudly express who they are.

*Every $10 raised allows us to source approximately 5 boxes. We will split all funds raised amongst the schools equitably.
