Help Crane River Theater amid recent funding cuts

Crane River Theater has provided quality productions and engaging arts education programs for sixteen years to Central Nebraska. As a non-profit organization, we are dependent on grants and sponsorships to help support our season. These funds allow us to present shows like "Beauty and the Beast" featuring professional artists from across the country and travel the state with our arts education programs like “Page to Stage”, which will reach more than 3,000 youth this year.

Recent cuts in grant funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, partnered with rising costs and limited resources, have left us with a financial gap. This announcement comes on the heels of other recent cuts, including the loss of our company housing that has been donated to us for many years, which accommodates our professional artists. These cuts come at a time when we are just weeks away from our highly anticipated summer season.
