My name is Ken Suter and I met a very sad man and his wife at a salon, and found out that he was just diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, right after losing his brother from the same disease. The news broke my heart. They were trying to get a benefit started to raise money for Craig's funeral bills, but his wife developed heart problems obviously worsened by the news of his condition and couldn't do it. All I could do was offer him comforting words and hugs, and I watched them leave. On my ride home I cried like a baby! Cancer took my wife two years ago, and her terrific dad 24 years ago. Ironically all these people were from the same old coal mining town, and were nearly neighbors for many years! The news hit me really hard and I wanted to do something for Craig in the memory of my wife Rhonda and her dad Alex. Craig needs money for funeral expenses, he is so worried that his wife Glenda will be burdened with his bills. And he's worried about his beloved dog Mijo too. He shouldn't have to worry about them, he has enough on his plate. Let's take care of him so he doesn't have to worry, and maybe we can get some extra money for Mijo to buy him food, toys and other things he needs, as he will certainly be grieving his beloved Dad!
