Help Craig survive lung cancer

Hello, I am Craig Clark. Humboldt county has been my home for most of my life. My family was kind of adventurous so I lived in a a lot of different places when I was growing up so I found myself, not unhappily, up in the Mattole Valley. It used to be more like the wild west back in the day so I had a somewhat rough and ready upbringing. I was also very intelligent when I was young; this led me to question everyone and everything around me. The things that my culture and family were telling me no longer made any sense anymore. As a result I was driven to rebel against the mainstream. This, combined with being exposed to hippie culture, led me to living a wild and adventurous life. My rebelliousness was always driven by core beliefs of economic and political equality, fairness, equity, bodily automony, personal and collective freedom, kindness and generosity. I also developed a very deep appreciation for plants, animals and nature. I believe that there is enough abundance on earth for everyone.

I lost my dear wife of 40 years Diane 3 years ago, and had a difficult time recovering even though I made a great effort to do so.

Recently I received a very difficult cancer diagnoses. I not yet aware of the extent of it but I am staying as positive as I can regardless of the situation. That is what I have had to do in life in general when things have seemed very bleak. The purpose of this fundraiser is to pay for living and transportation expenses. My financial situation was already challenging, this diagnosis has made it much more severe. I am still fairly fit and able to work as long its not too damp or cold outside but that could change as my condition progresses.
