Help Craig Newton beat Cancer!
Donation protected
Craig and Julie (Schlimm) Newton were born and raised in Saint Marys, PA. Many of you had the pleasure of watching Craig and Julie play ball on the local courts. They are raising their family here in Saint Marys and we have watched their four kids follow in their parents footsteps and play ball on the very same courts.
Craig, the father of these four beautiful humans was diagnosed several years ago with non-hodgkin’s lymphoma and in the last year has been fighting the “cancer battle” of his life. He has not been able to work at his job as a rural route postal worker and his wife Julie, a public school teacher, has taken a medical leave to assist in Craig’s care. They have been traveling back and forth to The Cleveland Clinic for multiple treatments, transfusions, surgeries etc, for over a year.
Craig and Julie have two children in college and two at home. They are the kindest, most loving family and they are the first to help anyone who needs it. In our small town, we have all been faced with this disease in some way, shape, or form. Not every family wants to be in the spotlight or wants to be the center of attention when life throws hardships their way. This family is one of those families.
We are asking for support on their behalf to help cover the cost of travel, lodging, and life expenses, so that they can focus their time and energy on Craig and his treatments during this most difficult time. We appreciate your kindness and support.
