Our dad, Craig Jay Sr., unexpectedly had a recent heart attack that led to multiple heart attacks in a row on Sunday.
He went to Vandalia SBL Hospital where they found out he had these heart attacks.
He was transferred to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL, where they did further testing and found out that he has to have a quadruple bypass on Wednesday, 08/13/25, to fix these blockages in his heart.
He has three children and is unable to work. They said anywhere from 3 to 6 months as long as there are no complications.
My mother has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 20 years. We are also unaware if he has insurance.
We appreciate all of the help that we can get. This was very unexpected and we're not fully prepared to cover these hospital, gas, and other expenses while caring for our dad.
