Craig Hill is recovering in the ICU at UMMC in Jackson, MS after surviving a devastating accident. Craig was inside a trash bin trying to get something when the truck picked it up before he could get out. He yelled for help, but the driver could not hear him. By the grace of God, Craig survived being compacted in the trash truck—an experience that almost took his life!

We believe this was nothing short of a miracle. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 91:

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’ … Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you… for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

And again in Psalm 107:19-20:

”Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

God heard Craig’s cry when no one else could. We believe this is the time for healing and restoration. As Jeremiah 30:17 promises, “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” and Joel 2:25 reminds us that the Lord can restore what has been lost.

Right now, Craig is fighting to heal from this trauma, and the road ahead will not be easy. This fundraiser is to help provide the care and recovery he needs while he is in the ICU and as he continues healing afterward.

Summer will direct the funds appropriately for Craig’s care and needs during this critical time. Just as importantly, these donations will help Craig begin rebuilding his life and getting back on his feet after this traumatic event—walking into the restoration God has already begun.
