My name is Craig Anthony Carlton, and I’m 32 years old. A few months ago, my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with Stage 2B gastric adenocarcinoma — a serious form of stomach cancer.

For nearly three years, I went to hospitals and ERs dozens of times, begging for answers as I battled constant stomach pain, vomiting, fatigue, and ulcers. But I was dismissed over and over, labeled as “drug-seeking.” By the time doctors finally took me seriously, my cancer had already progressed.

Now, I’m fighting not only for my health, but for my life. I’ve lost my job and can’t work because of my condition. Every day is a struggle — not just with pain and weakness, but also with basic needs like food, gas, and bills.

I’ve learned about an incredible cancer center in Phoenix, Arizona, that offers advanced treatment options — including immunotherapy and specialized gastric cancer care — that could give me a real chance at recovery. I want to go there to pursue the best care possible and finally get my life back.

I’m asking for help to cover travel, food, lodging, and basic living costs while I undergo treatment. Every single donation, no matter how small, helps me move one step closer to healing.

I spent 8 years of my young life in prison, and since getting out, I’ve worked hard to change everything about my life. I haven’t had the chance to experience the world like most people — and I want to live. I want to see more, to love more, and to make something of this second chance I’ve been given.
