Two years ago, I faced a medical emergency that nearly took my life. I spent 67 days in the hospital, fighting to recover, while my wife was also dealing with her own medical challenges. Since then, my health journey has led to a diagnosis of stage 4 liver failure, and I now need a liver transplant to survive. Most recently, I was hospitalized again for two weeks due to a complication from my condition—a reminder of how fragile things can be. Thankfully, I pulled through once more, but the emotional and financial toll has been immense.

The medical bills from my hospitalizations, along with my wife's, have piled up. The costs of the upcoming transplant, the medication I need now, and the medication I will need after the transplant are overwhelming. There is also the constant worry about unexpected hospital stays that could happen before the transplant. I have always tried to stay strong and positive for my daughter and wife, doing my best to shield them from the stress and uncertainty. But the reality is that the financial burden is becoming too much to bear alone.
