Help Craig fight Stage IV Colon Cancer
Donation protected
This is a fundraiser for Craig Hardman, a brother to Nicola, Paula and Warrick, a father to Reese, a son to Peta and Keith, a loving partner to Lauren, brother in law to Quintin and Scott, a step son to Julie, Joan, John and Margot, an Uncle to Damien, Luke, Abbey, Cameron and Courtney and a friend to all.
Those of you who know Craig, know him as kind, generous and funny. He lights up the room wherever he goes (especially when he gets a chance to show off his latest dance moves). His energy, positivity and laugh are infectious. He would give anyone the shirt off his back, he is the kind of guy you want to have as a friend! Craig is a hard worker in the stone masonry field, where he has worked as a contractor for the past 25 years. Craig is just a beautiful soul who touches the lives of people where ever he goes, he is truly an unforgettable guy who is loved by all. He now needs all the help and support he can get!
We are devastated by Craig's diagnosis which has been made even more challenging by his financial situation. Unfortunately, he can no longer work and pay his bills. Being a contractor means "no work no pay". He does not have access to private health cover and has to rely on the South African public health system. There are long wait times to access life saving treatment, and unfortunately Craig does not have time on his side. Our only option at this stage is to pay private costs to have scans, blood tests and surgery to remove the tumor as well as ongoing cancer treatments. He also requires funds to support himself through the next few months and longer including basic living expenses like rent and food. While we can provide all the love and support he needs, he needs urgent medical care to save his life.
Any assistance you can provide to support Craig and his family will be greatly appreciated. If you can't donate at this time, a message of support for Craig, and sharing this page with your family and friends would be amazing. We will keep you updated on Craig's journey, and hope with all our hearts that there are many more updates to come.
