Craig was diagnosed with stage 3c testicular cancer in January 2023. Since then he has had several procedures to remove a few tumors and has undergone a 4 month chemotherapy treatment which is typically 85% successful. Unfortunately, Craig’s cancer was resistant to this protocol and further treatment is necessary. Since finding out his cancer was resistant, he went through a second 5-day inpatient aggressive chemotherapy regimen at St. Joe Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Once further cardiac and pulmonary testing is completed, Craig will be admitted to the IU Health Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis to undergo 2 rounds of stem-cell transplant therapy. This is another very rigorous treatment regimen which will require him to be inpatient for 3 weeks at a time. This second treatment plan has a 60% success rate and we are hoping this will be the answer to our prayers.
