Cowboy is 3 years old, was adopted and has always been an active dog loved by everyone.

This fundraising is intended to help with Cowboy's treatment and give him a better quality of life given the situation here in the United States where the costs are extremely high.

He was diagnosed with IVDD, with Myelomalacia sequence, which is a lesion that occurs when the soft center of the intervertebral discs dries out and becomes brittle. About 10% of French Bulldogs develop Myelomalacia, a disease that causes necrosis (tissue death) in the spinal cord, which is Cowboy's case, paralyzing his hind legs and preventing him from walking again.

With faith in God and believing that we are creating a miracle, he needs special and alternative treatments such as acupuncture on alternate days, ozone therapy, moxa, and physical therapy to try to reverse the situation. In addition, he will need to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging exam, known as an MRI ($5 thousand dollars) and possible surgery on the spinal disc (between $7 and $9 thousand dollars).

Unfortunately, today he can no longer pee and poop on his own and has lost all sensitivity in his legs. However, to confirm the case, he will need to see a specialist in 3 weeks, where we will perform the MRI and continue the treatment.

Além disso, será necessário fazer um exame de ressonância magnética, conhecido como MRI ($5 mil dólares) e uma possível cirurgia no disco da coluna (entre $7 a $9 mil dólares).

Infelizmente, hoje ele já não consegue fazer xixi e cocô sozinho e perdeu toda a sensibilidade das pernas. Porém, para ter uma confirmação sobre o caso, será necessário um retorno ao especialista em 3 semanas, onde faremos o MRI e daremos continuidade ao tratamento.
