Help Cowboy Eddie Long
Donation protected
If you are a country music fan, chances are you have enjoyed the musical mastery of Cowboy Eddie Long, one of the most respected pedal steel guitar players in Nashville history. He has worked with Jamey Johnson, Hank Williams Jr., and about anyone who asked him to join a session. When he’s not helping artists define their sound, he’s helping his friends by recording on demos, playing gigs and doing anything else they need. He has been part of the foundation of traditional country music for several decades.
Cowboy is among the most generous people you’ll meet. He’s quick to laugh and quicker to love. His joy is infectious and he brings life to every gathering. He’s the first to offer help when things get tough, so that’s why we are asking you to help us show Cowboy how much he is loved.
Cowboy’s 25-year-old son, Wyatt, died tragically and unexpectedly this week, so we are rallying music lovers everywhere to help Cowboy through this time, just as his music has carried us through some of our darkest days. We are raising money to cover funeral costs as well as other related expenses.
As you know, touring musicians were among the hardest hit during the pandemic. For nearly two years, they weren’t able to work as venues were shuttered, buses were parked and everyone stayed at home.
We want to help cover Cowboy’s financial needs to take that worry off of his mind during this unthinkable time. We also want to return the love and generosity that he has shown to everyone else.
