Hi. My name is Maria (Mary). My husband's name is Carlos. Together we decided to create this in hopes of getting a little financial aid. My husband was recently sick & on Sat August 5th, 2023, he took a turn for the worst & ended up being rushed to hospital via ambulance. He was there for a week in the CCU/ICU, intubated, with kidney, liver & respiratory failure. He had to undergo multiple tests multiple times in order to find the source of his illness. By some miracle, he survived. He is now home with me & our four children. Unfortunately, he is unable to work at the moment & has lost wages over these last couple of weeks. I'm currently the only one working while he's home recovering. Our kids are home with him helping when & where they can. He has follow up appointments with a GI, pulmonologist, infectious disease & a nephrologist.

Any funds collected will be used to aid us in paying necessary bills that include our rent, water, groceries & gas for me to be able to get to work & get him to his specialist appointments.
