Help Cover William Hilgenberg's Funeral Expenses

This fundraiser is to raise funeral expenses for William (BJ) Hilgenberg who unexpectedly passed away early Saturday morning October 12, 2024 after a tragic accident. BJ was only 46 year old and this has been a complete shock and upset to his family. I pray this helps take a little burden off of their shoulders so they can properly grieve. If you are unable to donate then keep his family in your prayers!

He only had a very small insurance policy covering half of the down payment needed to have the funeral. Everything raised above the total funeral costs will go towards his headstone.

I will update the page with funeral arrangements as soon as they are available. They are estimating he will not be home for close to 2 weeks after autopsy.

William Joseph Hilgenberg (BJ)

Born September 7, 1978 (46), of Coal Grove Ohio,died Saturday October 12, 2024 at 3:15am at Kings Daughters Medical Center.

He is survived by his loving parents, Joe and Sue Hilgenberg of Coal Grove Ohio. 2 children, William Jackson Hilgenberg, and Delilah Paige Hilgenberg of Flatwoods KY. A sister Mindy (Tommy) Joseph of Coal Grove and 1 neice Johanna Braun Joseph also from Coal Grove Ohio.

BJ was a Union Laborer by trade. He also worked at Huntington Steel. BJ belonged to the Masonic Lodge 198 in Ironton Ohio.

He loved the outdoors. Hunting,camping, four-wheeling with friends. He loved Ohio State Football and looked forward to Saturdays and watching the game with friends.He was loved by many people, and he loved them all back. He will be truly missed.

Arrangements are pending at this time and will be announced soon. By his request there will be no showing.
