Help Cover Will Hansen's Final Expenses
Donation protected
Will Hansen was a loving husband, a father of three, and a mental health professional.
He was diagnosed with primary schlerosing cholongitis in October of 2024, and he developed stage four liver disease as a result of that condition. His health quickly deteriorated after that.
He was hospitalized several times and spent nearly two weeks in a physical rehab center, but his liver failure continued to progress. The doctors eventually informed us that he was nearing the end, so we decided to bring him home to provide hospice care.
He passed away at home on Easter Sunday, April 20th, 2025.
This has been such a tremendous loss, and it's hard to believe that he's gone.
He didn't want us to have a funeral for him, as he simply wanted to be cremated and to have his ashes spread in the forest. Unfortunately, the cremation will cost several thousand dollars; we also have to pay several outstanding medical bills, along with other expenses related to the at-home hospice care that we provided for him near the end, such as medical transport, medications, and the hospital bed rental.
Coping with Will's death has been really difficult, and now we're just struggling to deal with the financial burden on top of everything else. I know that times are tough for everyone right now, but we could really use a little help. Anything that you can offer would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you.
