Help Cover Vet Costs for Ralph

On Sunday, our rescue Ralph, suddenly collapsed and was completely paralyzed. We rushed him to the pet ER but they did not have the equipment to scan his spine for a proper diagnosis. We took him home with total care in hopes he would improve with steroids which he did not. At the cost of thousands of dollars, it’s taken several vets and specialists over the bridge to get a possible diagnosis which can only be determined and hopefully treated with a complex surgery and long recovery. They called us with only 10 minutes to make this tough decision and we determined that we cannot put our family through anymore grief. He is only 5 years old and an otherwise healthy, happy, loving dog.

We realize it’s a challenging time for a lot of people and every little bit helps. If you ever had a pet with IVDD our heartbreaks for you too!
