On Monday, February 6th, Jacob was involved in a snowmobile accident that resulted in his untimely death. Jacob was a kind, gentle giant who knew exactly how to light up a room. He always had those around him smiling and laughing along. Jacob touched the lives of so many in his 25 years on Earth and his presence will never go unfelt. I first met Jacob in the fifth grade when I transferred to Saranac, where he quickly became my first friend in a new school. I am working alongside Jacob's lifelong best friend Andrew Caron to help raise money for Jacob's family to assist in the cost of his funeral.
